FASHION PACT SUSTAINABILITY

FASHION PACT SUSTAINABILITY

The fashion industry is responsible for 6% of greenhouse gas emissions, 10 to 20% of pesticide use, ⅕ of water pollution, 20 to 35% of plastics that pollute the ocean.
Based on this terrible observation, 150 brands are joining Emmanuel Macron's Fashion Pact to make fashion a more responsible environment.

Mission of the pact:
a list of objectives defined by fashion players themselves to reduce their environmental footprint.

FLAIR PACTE MODE BODY MADE IN FRANCE FASHION PACT SUSTAINABILITY

Mandated by E. Macron, François-Henri Pinault (Kering) has the mission of establishing these objectives by bringing together the largest fashion groups such as PVH (Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger), Inditex, H&M, alongside 32 other large groups for a total of 150 brands: Gucci, Chanel, Nike, Hermès. This initiative is to be welcomed because it is the first of its kind!

Three main objectives:

  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
  • Restore the natural ecosystem to protect endangered species,
  • Preserve the ocean by limiting the use of non-recycled plastic.

Because better late than never, Flair welcomes this initiative and commits to continuing the fight on his side:

  • A 100% made in France offer in Troyes, 1h30 from Paris
  • Fabrics knitted and dyed directly in our workshop in Troyes with Ecotex certified European yarns
  • Innovate and fight to offer you ever “cleaner” products that are good for us and our planet.
